You don't have to climb too far to get a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains and valley. It's a safe climb.

Can get crowded---and the viewing area at the top is quite small. A few places to rest on the way up, but not much really. Parking area was crowded early and folks were parking along the exit road Worth the trip up though!

This little walk up a lot of steps is really fun. The views are amazing, and the construction of the steps is something to see: they blend in well and are ingeniously incorporated into their surroundings. Go early, when it's not so crowded, if you can.

A short, steep climb up to the top of the rock rewards you with breathtaking views in every direction. Definitely one of my favorite things to do in Sequoia National Park!

This steep incline paired with the think air, makes for an exilerating climb. At times, I felt I could plummet to my death, but was so worth it. This is a MUST See if visiting the area. We went on a foggy day, so once we reached the summit, we could nothing but white. Buut the thrill was worth acending... More

Love moro rock. My father took me here at least once a year when I was growing up. It is a very popular place to go for tourists so you will see alot of them. You walk up a bunch of stairs but when you get to the top its so worth it!

The set of steps are easy to navigate and safe to complete. The reward is exceptional with the views you get at the top.
