My wife and I hiked the Sugar Bowl Trail. It took 4 hours. Saw hundreds of giant sequoias. Beautiful vista at the top. Really fantastic hike. Did not see a single other person during the hike!

Beautiful if you want to see flowers and untouched Sequoia’s. The massive Hart tree is about 4 Miles in and breath taking but we couldn’t find fallen Goliath as the trail isn’t well labeled in a few areas (such as the cabin about two miles...More

The 2 mile drive to get here on a dirt road was worth it. The hike through the forest is beautiful. All downhill in the beginning so the hike back is uphill. Bring lots of water and a picnic to take your time.

If you want to see lots of Sequoia trees, take this hike! Be certain to follow the trail to the Hart Tree. Maps are available from the visitor centers. Trail is well marked and maintained. It is a 7-mile hike, bring lots of water.

Great place to escape the crowds and see big trees up close. We disturbed a deer.Bit of a slog towards the end but in general the gradients are fairly gentle. The creek is a good place to stop for lunch
