Best way to get around Springdale and Zion park but I cannot imagine how packed the buses are in summer or how long the queues are. We went in May and it was very efficient. Drivers were courteous, safe and informative.

You are unable to drive into the park past the Visitor's Center unless you are staying at the lodge. No problem, though, as there is plenty of free parking at the Visitor's Center (after entering the park) and the shuttles come by often. You can also park down in the town of Zion and ride the local shuttle bus up... More

A wonderful way to get around to avoid the traffic. Very clean, effecient . Very seldom do you have to wait you look up and there's another shuttle. All the drivers we had were very nice and informative.

It was a rainy day and I believe park attendance was not normal so shuttle riding was easy. CLoser to summertime I can't say.

If you want to get farther into the park you need to ride the shuttle. There are lots of pick-up points in Springdale that take you up to the Park, then you get onto shuttles that drive farther in. There are lots of stops to get off, hike, take pictures, then get on another shuttle. Very convenient. It was nice... More

This is the best way to see Zion and control traffic at the same time. This makes stops at all the major trails and you never have to wait long for the next tram.

Without the shuttle I don't think you could see Zion National Park. Zion visitation is growing very rapidly and cars would be bumper to bumper from one end of the park to the other. It would be like the freeway between Las Vegas and L.A. on a Friday evening, but much, much slower. The shuttle leaves frequently - about every... More

First of all get to the Visitor Center early to get the first shuttle or your party may get split up. We arrived with our bikes (3) and boarded the shuttle. We stayed on the shuttle while it stopped at each point to the end, Temple of Sinawava, taking about 45 minutes. This is narrated also. We got off and... More

A great choice and best way to get into the park. There are numerous stops, each with a full days activity available. Hiking trails at each stop connect to other stops. Shuttle is convenient and runs every few minutes. A very easy and efficient way to see Zion. Research each of the 10 stops and plan your stay accordingly.
