The tunnel feels longer than its 1.1 miles. One way traffic control was applied when we passed it. Ques are to be expected, and the feeling inside the tunnel is somewhat claustrophobic. Apart from that, this approach to Zion National Park is the most beautiful....More

It's a tunnel it's pretty cool, not sure if it's an attraction in itself. If your in an RV you pay $15 to use it because the need to stop traffic so you can drive in the center of the road.

As with all of Zion National Park, this was crowded and is single lane only. This means a long wait at either end before getting into the tunnel. There is no stopping at the view windows while driving through, so it is really not an...More

2 tunnels. One shorter than the other. Dark car tunnel. But it leads you out to some nice views at the end of the tunnel. No stopping allowed.

We waited about 45 minutes to get to even start through the tunnel. After that it was not very pleasant. In most tunnels there are ceiling lights which give you some "breathing room." Not so here. It was dark and the air was a little...More

The 1.1 mile drive through the tunnel is definitely exciting. It's pitch dark except where "windows" were blasted out. These provide wonderful views as the Canyon progressively narrows. Beyond the tunnel are great vistas of layered rock.

When people talk about a tunnel they don't expect one that is a few miles long and at a steep angle. This is the way to enter the park for the first time. Just stunning

If you like waiting for an hour to pass thru the tunnel one way because it's so outdated it can't accommodate big motor homes or similar, then good for you. Personally I would rather spend that time in the Park.
