slightly southern central. Its worth staying overnight but I note lots of day trippers from Chiayi which is on the HSR

If a 17 year old is going to travel solo, it has to be Singapore, HK, Japan & Taiwan. never a worry wandering off into quieter streets there, never felt harassed by strange people
