Got the 201 bus from Buggiba bus station, took us through some lovely villages and along Dingli Cliffs, we had a pretty mad bus driver and was like a white knuckle ride but the Blue Grotto was absolutely beautiful, peaceful and tranquil. A few restaurants, cafes and souvineer type stalls selling clothes but nothing too over the top, quite unspoiled... More

Take a boat tour for 8 euro. I think it is worth. However it is only like 20 minutes, but they bring you to a place you can't get there without a boat. The place is the most beautiful with the morning sun, then you can see the blue clear water. In the afternoon it is in the shade and... More

The spot itself is nice but the 20 min boat trip is not worth the EUR 8 p.P. - 4 EUR would be more reasonable. Unfortunately you cannot see or access Blue Grotto from landside. Water at the site is very clear though and well prepared for just jumping in if you feel like it.

Nice place to visit, good pictures and a little bit of adventure. You take a small boat, max 8 persons and go around some nice caves with blue water and blue shadows on the ceiling. Nice boat ride.

Might be a quick one but well worth seeing. If you go by bus it's a hike down, and back up again! Buses are quite frequent but could be packed - prepare to be a sardine! You can walk down the main road after visting the Mnajdra Temples, but it's a bit of a hike.

Lovely boat ride exploring several seaside grottos you wouldn't get to see otherwise. Well worth the 16 euro for 2 adults.

Amazingly beautiful nature in its full glow. Really something to admire. Waves were to high to take a boat ride and explore it from near, but it was still a very memorable experience.

8 Euros may seem expensive for a small boat trip around this section of coastline. Also, regardless of the fact that the duration of the boat trip is less than half an hour. it is great fun that facilitates a close-up view of spectacular caves and other coastal features. Of all the shades and hues of blue that exist, I... More
