Once upon the time around 1990 there was a master confectioner who thought that all the existing chocolate creations on the market are simply a little bit too boring. So after business hours he started to explore in the quietness of his company’s back room...

We went to visit the chocolate factory with our one and a half year daughter taking the last choco tour at 17 30:) The tour starts with a movie which our daughter enjoyed a lot, its about growing of cacao, process of fermentation and drying, music is very nice, and also you can see monkeys and birds so she was... First you get to see a short fun film about the Zotters and their trip to find and buy the best organic cocoa beans for their chocolate manufacture and you actually believe them. :-) Then you start your tour through the factory by taking a little ceramic spoon which you'll be filling with all sorts of chocolate products. Don't be... More

It's visible that the CEO is a very proud man on his empire, and has a very strong dependence to the erotism, but still on a tolerable level. We went there 4 and left a huge amount of money for the entrance ticket, but in reality we get a 2+ hours culinary experience. As an advise, don't taste every piece... More

You will have an unforgattable day if you decide to visit this place. You can learn about the process of chocolate production with the help of an audio guide - what's more, you can experience it step-by-step . It is also possible to taste 180 different types of delicious, common and very special chocolate which is a mission impossible really.... More

We had a great day in the chocolate factory. On the first sight the price is maybe high but it is definately worth it. You can taste many different kinds of chocolate and you can eat as much chocolate as you can. After the tour you can visit a small zoo with mostly farm animals and many activities for children... Visiting the factory is fun, tasting all the choc's and hot drinks, having a peek at the factory. But we have really enjoyed walking in the big park, in the "zoo". Very nice place, sweet animals and a well looked after area. You can spend hours there, its lovely. On the way out we ran into the owner (Josef Zotter)... More

Now I'm not a big chocolate fan but do like something that is a little different. This is the place to come. It's unique. It's special. Even my colleague created his own chocolate ingredients and was sent home to him within a week. Fabulous! Well catered for vegetarians, vegans and gluten intolerant. There is also the opportunity for those who'd... More

Zotter is ranked amoung the top 10 chocolate manufacturers in the world and if you visit his factory you will understand why. A lot of attention is paid to fairtrade and using organic products. The tour itself is very informative and very well put together. You will defintely eat way too much chocolate, but who cares - it's lots of... More

I have been here twice and always was great. The chocholate is delicious and it is very clean. The zoo outside is nice place to walk. You just must visit this place.
