Had a very special visit to Haguelands today to meet the Alpacas. Our guide was a very enthusiastic young man who told us so much about alpacas and llamas! We hadn’t expected to be so close to the alpacas but we were in the paddock with the females , feeding them and hearing about everything from personality to breeding. We visited several paddocks to see adult males, llamas and we saw a nursery paddock. This was a great experience!

We had a fantastic day at Haguelands farm! It was cheap for a full day with no time limits (£25 for six) and as the weather was so lovely we made a full day of it. There is plenty to keep children entertained, with a huge maze, mini tractor rides, inflatables, sand, climbing frame, go karts and huge water fight arena. All staff we spoke to were polite and well mannered, especially putting up with certain rude (unnecessarily!) customers who seem to like complaining. One particularly notable member of staff was a young man, spending the summer here down from near London. He was clearly very hard working and even put off his lunch to keep children happy. We will definitely come back on another pleasant day.

We brought my baby grandson and three year old granddaughter here yesterday, and it was an absolutely fabulous day. We started off with the bouncy castle and then the little ones went in the sand pit, on the swings, and some other little things. We took a picnic but there was food like hot dogs and burgers to purchase if you wanted to along with fresh corn on the cob. After lunch we visited the little shop and purchased some local chutneys, jams and beers. Then back to the maze. Wow! That was such fun. High corn cut to make several different pathways and a quiz with clues. We loved it. Such innocent pleasures on a sunny day. We finished off back at the bouncy castle and a go on the little train pulled by a tractor. All the staff that we came across were lovely and so polite. We were very impressed and I’m sure that we will return.

My best advice is to take your money elsewhere.. the kids were not allowed to play freely without being dictated to by the staff. Maybe some customer service training would help Very expensive for what is only a couple of inflatables & some go karts There are much better places around

What an amazing day out, took my granddaughter for an Alpaca trekking experience which was so memorable and great value. Easy parking at Haguelands Farm with all facilities, the whole event is around 2 hours. You have your own Alpaca to take for 'walkies' on the farmland in a group of around 10 with 2 expert handlers. The animals are adorable, well behaved and so calming to be with, and you are real close, end of a short lead, children under 14 share with adult. You have a rest break half way round for the Alpacas , where you hand feed them carrots, back to the farm where you meet the rest of the head, feed them and see the young. The walk is flat at a steady pace. Just amaxing, our girl loved it and so did I, and amazing experience and we will be coming back later in the year
