A little slog off the M6, but well worth the detour half way along our trip to Edinburgh. Interesting displays and great fun doing the kids trail outside.

Hi sand glike, you can certainly get to some of the wall, but to get to the central area where the wall parts and shapes where rooms and houses were, you will have to pay and go through the museum to get to the back... More
