Once you've found this site, you are asked to sit quietly. At feeding time (2pm gmt) the man in charge puts raw meat out for the birds. Immediately about 80 Red Kites descend from the sky to swoop on the food and devour it. Amazing!...More

I have waited 12 years to see Red Kites and this experience was a high point because we saw the birds at close quarters. We valued the quiet in the hides and the commitment of the organisers/staff. The station is perfectly positioned, away from the...More

We were driving from Aberyswyth to Brecon and saw that this was on the way, so we planned to be there for feeding time. The last 7 miles were of the one-lane variety that have you wondering if you're lost, but the countryside is beautiful...More

Friendly welcome at point of registration, in the cafe. We enjoyed the farm walk before heading to the hides, wow what an amazing experience - will definitely return when next in the area.

I have been to a couple of excellent kite feeding stations in the very distant past. Are you the one that puts the food on a small island and you can see the birds from the other end of the water?

Hi, I feed the Red Kites in front of the hide and I am told from my photographers that have visited all feeding stations that I feed much closer than all of them . Hope to see you soon .

Hi, the cafe is still shut sadly as it wasn't busy enough. We have had change of use and it is now three adult only holiday apartments . We do have a toilet at the hide for customers . Hope this helps

Hello, we want to bring our dogs and leave them in the car. If it is a hot day the windows need to be rolled down. Sometimes the dogs make a lot of noise, so we wanted to check if the car park is far enough away from the birds (we don't want the dogs' noise to disturb the birds). Thanks!

HI, if you have to bring your dogs with you then please bring them into the hide, even with the windows open it is not recommended by the RSPCA to leave any dog in the car even with the windows open this time of year .
