Tired of working in mass consumption tourism industry, we decided to go for a niche, walking tours, excursions, tours in jeeps and hoking on Etna volcano.

Instead of touring people to places where everybody goes, we dediced to do the contrary: small areas, off the beaten track, real local life, good walks, good food and wine....

We had an amazing time hiking on Etna with them. The guides speak very good English and they teach you everything about the region, how the craters were formed and why it is a very active volcano area. The view of vale del bove is breathtaking, but the whole way up there is astonishing.

Ernesto picked us up - on time- from our B&B in Catania- with a wide smile and a warm welcome to his Land-rover. From that moment on, throughout the day, things got better all the time. his knowledge of nature, history, local folklore and more - made our tour of Mt. Etna a lovely experience. Ernesto paid attention to all... More

Ernesto is a great guide - he knows, and loves, Etna - and it shows. He imparts his knowledge of Mt. Etna in a very pleasing manner - including the many types of plants and trees growing on the mountain. We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip with him and highly recommend him.

I definitely recommend the tour to Etna. Knowledgeable guide, friendly tour members and gorgeous view! My mom and I joined the 6-person group with Lanfranco. Even my mom can't speak English, she was deeply impressed by Lanfranco's dynamic and humor. We just want to say thank you to Lanfranco and leave him couples of pics if he can see. 我们非常推荐这个去火山的团,导游学识渊博,团员友好,火山的风景非常棒!... More

We had a fabulous tour of Mt. Etna with Lanfranco as our guide. He knows so much about the mountain and its volcanic history that it was a completely fascinating and engaging experience. He even had heavy jackets and hiking shoes we could borrow, when we reached one of the craters where it was very cool and windy. We had... More

The two of us joined 6 folks we did not know on the hike up Mt Etna, guided by Ernesto. His affection for and knowledge of the volcano made the trip so educational as well as physically interesting and fun. Ernesto made sure we were all involved and felt safe as well as challenged by the mountain. He helped us... More

We had a chance to visit Etna with Marco. He is incredibly experienced. He as a deep knowledge on volcanoes and we learnt many interesting facts. He took us off of the most common touristic paths and showed us the true beauty of the mountain!

If you are able to walk and enjoy nature. you will see a different nature and a different walk, even if you have done other volcanoes before. It is a small group that will take you to the right places and you will walk instead of using the lifts. This is for people who enjoy participating and not being driven.... More

We went on the Etna daily excursion yesterday with our guide Ernestno. It was wonderful, helped by great weather. Ernestno was an excellent guide, very informative and helpful. Loved the trekking and the visit to the lava tube, complete with caving helmets. Really got the best out of the day. Would recommend this to anyone.

We spent some most interesting hours together with Ernest and Marco. The highlight was without any doubts "la caldera del diabolo". For once one did not have the feeling to move "on the beaten (tourist) walk". Those two guys are among the best!!
