We visited in May while traveling on a cruise. My husband and I did this type of excursion in Grand turk last year. My daughter who is 20 was traveling with us this time, and wanted to experience it. This was so much better than Grand Turk. You go by boat to a sandbar. There is a floating platform for... More

This trip was quality.. Completely wild Ray's.. Perfectly clear warm water. The only thing I would say is that when getting out of the mini bus, the organisation isn't the best.. Everyone was unsure on where to head next or to wait before the briefing. That being said, if in Antigua you must do this... But be careful/watchful with small... More

We went to Stingray City on a shore excursion off the Celebrity Equinox & had a terrific time! Peter was our driver & gave a nice narrative of local features during the 30 minute or so drive to Stingray City in a comfy, air conditioned van. Once we arrived, we got an informative chat, then got on small boats for... More

Not normally one for group trips but we joined a small group of 5 plus us 4 (Me, wife and 2 teenage boys). By going early we was the only boat out with the Rays and I must say it was fantastic. Swimming and feeding the Rays who are not netted was great - Got some terrific pictures. With Talking... More

Wow, what a treat…we booked this tour as part of the cruise shore events…great choice and definite highlight of the trip. The drive to Sting Ray City itself was fun and informative and the sights including the local housing, people and countryside. When we arrived we were briefed on what to do and what not to do while in the... More

Visited stingray city Antigua May 2017, with a group of 8 adult family members. I was slightly apprehensive about the trip, as were several other members of the group. The staff were extremely friendly, knowledgable and assisted those who were less confident around the stingrays. Dijon was our host for the visit and he was absolutely brilliant, we couldn't have... My wife has a fear of swimming in the ocean (because of sharks) and was skeptical of going to stingray city but wanted to tackle her fears. Once she got there and saw the 50 or so stingrays come in and swim around us, brushing against our legs; she began to settle into the beauty of nature. She even feed... More

If you want a genuine stingray experience where the perimeter ropes only there to continue the tourists then this is a must. A short boat ride out to a sand bank where you disembark onto a pontoon and step out into the water nod have the opportunity to feed and cuddle a stingray. The obligatory photo and no pressure to... Had a few hours after church before my flight and decided to take advantage of a quick excursion I looked at this excursion under things to do prior to my trip to Antigua and said I would never do that. I am so glad I did! It was not scary at all. Getting into the water was the scariest part,... More

Despite me being a scaredy cat we took the trip to sting ray city. As the speed boat pulls up to a jetty in the middle of the sea the sting rays appear from nowhere. You are quickly given clear instruction of what and what not to do around the sting rays then it's out of the boat and into... More
