The views are stunning, the roads are challenging but it's so worth it! The best tip we were given was never drive through a puddle as you do not know how deep it is!!

Fig is the Antiguan word for banana. Fig tree drive is actually a small section of rain forest very lush and green with an abundance of fruit. There is also the opportunity to zip wire here if you choose to.

We were staying at Carlisle Bay so had to drive along here between Swetes and the resort. I have no idea why this could conceivably be classed as a thing to do in Antigua. It's just a windey road through a bit of forest area....More

The village of old Road can be accessed either by Fig ,Tree Drive or along the west coast. When I am being chauffeured my choice is Fig Tree Drive. Going through the rain forest is breath taking. The natural beauty of water, foliage, fruit trees...More

Basically is a road that winds its way through Antigua's answer to a tropical rain forest. In truth its not one, but it is kind of cool to stop and see the mango and banana trees. The road itself, like all of them on Antigua,...More

Gets a lot of publicity and you drive along it when you approach Falmouth Harbour from the west. That's about it!

It was part of larger tour of the island, In Antigua 'fig' means banana, which was slightly confusing at the start. We enjoyed trying to spot all of the trees although it was easy to spot has each plant has one bunch of bananas covered...More

Nice drive, wouldn't really go out of my way to come here. There is zip lining and an art galley and lots of locals selling fruit. Not many views other than rain forest.

We have visited Antigua four times and on each occasion have stopped by this lovely little gallery and bought paintings to take home to remind us of beautiful Antigua. The Fig Tree Gallery is not in the business of selling standard-issue tourist art -- lithographs...More

This road can be a little on the wild side, especially at night. The pot holes can jump right out at you :) Cool drive through the day, just keep an eye out for pot holes.
