Interesting museum that packs a lot into a small space. Gives all the information on how Antigua evolved right up to a statue and information on Sir Viv Richards, cricketing icon.

Wonderful little museum with lots of information and continuing to make new exhibits. We spent about 1.5 hours here and read everything in the museum. Wonderful information about the history of the island, wildlife and ecosystems, as well as Barbuda.

This was one of the best local museum we came across in the Caribbean, the displays were well presented, well curated and very explanatory of the island's history and culture. And the staff were also very helpful when it came to directing us to local sources of refreshment. A surprisingly godd visit - and free, too!

Nice museum, that does tell you about the local history and so you do get a flavour for the History of Antigua, sadly it is a bit run down like the whole island is, it could do with some TLC, and refurbishment again like the whole island sadly.

Small museum about three from the entrance of the cruise port, it is a small museum but does have artifacts from the local area, and also history. The price is $3.00 (US) for entrance, and will probably take 15 – 20 minutes to look and see everything.

We were taking a tour from our cruise ship that didn't start until noon so we took a stroll around St Johns and happened upon the museum. It was a most enjoyable and informative half hour. The museum is housed in an old courthouse.

This is a small museum with just one large room to walk around. The friendly receptionist is on hand to answer any questions. Things are set in date order so that you can follow the island's history. Quite a lot of interesting facts to read and objects to look at. The gift shop has a wide selection to choose a... More

St John's does not have a wealth of historical buildings, but this museum is worth spending time in. It's not big or high tech but it gives you a brief overview of the island and some interesting facts on the history of the island. The receptionist was friendly and there was a small gift shop selling some locally produced souvenirs.

This is a sweet little building housing some interesting artifacts describing the history of Antigua. The labels were descriptive and, as far as I could tell, accurate.
