Great little beach

Perfect little beach to hang your hammock and enjoy a quiet afternoon. Some restaurants (one at either end) and some nice services such as a masseuse

Location and protected waters are a plus along with ease of parking and some shaded spots and covered pavilions. But the swim area is roped and the basic truth is there are much bigger, more private, and prettier beaches to be found on Antigua. If you are in English Harbor, check it out, but don't judge Antigua beaches by it.

We had a very short visit at this splendid location. Nice, to say the least. I wish we had more time here, to spend locally and on this beach.

An easy stroll from the marina and town. Lovely soft sand, unbelievably blue clear water, much to see but safe bathing. Cafe on the beach but quiet. All you need for a few hours relaxation and a warm swim on shallowish water. Just one word of warning however, the weed further out conceals sea urchins; you don't want those in... More

Great place since my husband cannot sit in the sun. There are shady areas with seating. Food is available as well as changing rooms, restrooms and fresh water showers. Nice place to relax.

White sand, turquoise, warm water. A safe bathing area for children and the more timid. No major currents. Plenty of shady areas under trees or you can bathe in the sunshine.

Lovely crescent of sand; a restaurant at each end of you need a drink or a meal; and plenty of shade for those of us who don't want to head home looking like grilled lobsters. Not a bunch of serious-minded tanning people on loungers - just a happy mix of tourists and locals playing in the water or relaxing on... More

A gentle sea, wonderful views of boats close by and two eating establishments (Catherines and Bumpkins) make for a wonderful couple of hours.

Driving around the island , stopped here at this laid back beach and wished we had our suits with us. Very inviting lined w shade trees . In view of fabulous yachts in harbor.

Through the week this beach is very quiet. My visit on a Saturday before lunch at Catherines Cafe located on this beach was much busier. Great location with a well protected beach in the harbour. Lots a sail boats moored in the bay. Highy recommend it, if in the English Harbour area. Make reservations at Catherines Cafe, afterwards you can... More
