This really is a stunning beach best reached by water taxi at $20EC return each, but the water is cold compared to other beaches, more turtle grass and not as sandy underfoot. Sunbeds are $30EC for two so not a cheap option. The fact it is a mass graveyard is really interesting and detailed well in the museum so absolutely... More

I came here for a little bit with my b/f while perusing the island. we did not get to go in the water but if I come back to Antigua, I am definitely swimming/snorkeling here. it seemed like a really good spot. There is barely any parking. About 5 cars fit in the "lot" and a few other cars were... More

We enjoyed watching boat vie for good anchorage after Race Week composition. The beach bar was a great spot for drinks and meeting locals or sailors.

Had a great time on this beach. Hired 2 canoes from The Cheeky Marlin to go and look at the Pillars of Hercules. Then had a relaxing time on the beach enjoying delicious rum punch, piña colada and tasty bbq dishes. All combined with relaxing music. Loved it!

The beach is fine - adjacent to our hotel and attracts boaties and a few locals. The only place to get any refreshment was a shabby chic beach shack called the Cheeky Marlin. Cheeky was right in terms of prices - £20 for a basic pizza, £8 for a bowl of chips, and all served with a smug smile that... More

Enough shade, loungers to hire, good value bar right on the beach, calm waters and view of super yachts - what more can you want? Nice beach and sun fitted as standard.

Most of the beaches in Antigua are in the western / south western coast. (Caribbean Sea ....& beautiful !). But if you're spending the day / staying on eastern (SE) side, its Atlantic Ocean. So can be huge crashing waves (ex. @ beautiful Half Moon Bay). So..... after viewing Half Moon, we headed to Galleon Beach. Calm. Small. Quiet. Lots... More

The perfect Caribbean beach, with well-placed palm trees to shelter under. Unfortunately a bunch of rude Italians stole our place whilst we were swimming, but we just moved elsewhere to keep our cool. Water is silky smooth and warm and a wonderful turquoise colour. There's also a nice beach bar (but extremely expensive).

Easy to get here by the water taxi from outside the Copper and Lumber Store at English Harbour...takes about 5 minutes. This is a quiet laid back, relaxing beach, more Robinson Crusoe than Ibiza. The Cheeky Marlin serves a fairly limited range if drinks....but the ice is cold and the rum is tasty, so what's more to want.
