Each time we go to Aruba, my husband climbs this mountain. He likes the views from the top. Steep steps are built into the mountain, but it's easy to climb if you are fit.

This was a fun and free thing to do on Aruba. The island is mostly flat and there is one mountain in the center. There are a lot of stairs to the top (we didn’t count them). We spent about 20 minutes climbing the stairs...More

We did all of the 650 or so steps, me running. We passed a local who trains there. I felt sorry to pass him on the way up, I did admit to him I had a leg up living at 6800ft (2070m). We met again...More

Good views from the top. Take it slow if you are not in the best shape and you will make it. Try to find the airliner sitting in a neighborhood.

There are a lot of steps to climb which makes it challenging. There are stops along the way to rest. The views are worth it!

As the others have said, it is not a walk I would take from the cruise port. The views at the top are good, but obscured by all of the antennas and equipment. There are so many others places to see and do, if this was a... More
