Pretty little park

Stopped in Aruba while on a cruise--this was such a pretty little park. Liked the homage (in statue form) to Anne Frank...and the iguanas were freaky--but cool.

We went for a walk around Oranjestad from our cruise ship which stopped here for a day. Wilhelmina Park is a nice green space next to the sea. There is a statue of Anne Frank, and also one of Queen Wilhelmina. And lots and lots of iguanas! Green ones, brown ones, all shapes and sizes! It was fun seeing how... More

Certainly not a touristy location but still worth some time. Beautiful paths, views of the ocean and a few statues. The statue for Anne Frank must be seen by any children traveling w you. And the status for Wilhelmina is lovely. Lots of geckos too.

This is just along from the Renaissance Mall and is the opposite side of the road. It runs down to the paths alongside the sea and is a nice interlude to shopping. nice statues of Queen Wilhelmina and also Anne Frank and the area has a large population of Iguanas who like sunning themselves. If you think there are only... More

Nice little area at the end of a stroll along the front and round the harbour in Oranjestad. Grassed area was populated with a handful of iguanas when we walked through and there were a couple (people, not iguanas) have their wedding photos taken which tells you something about how pretty it is.

Yes, it is just a small park, right on the ocean, in downtown Aruba, but worth the diversion. Only takes a few minutes to explore and the statue of Queen Wilhelmina is very beautiful.

This is a small perfectly formed park which had more than 40 iguanas taking in the sun at the time of our visit. A neat park with lots of grass - exceedingly smart. Located near to the sea front so plenty to see and do and wander around and about at all times.

This area is good for a sit down and a wee rest after walking around seeing the sights. Peaceful and in the shade.

We were wandering around downtown Oranjestad and stumbled on this pretty but small park. Good ocean views and a nice quiet spot to reflect and relax.

This park was right next to our hotel, and we would walk thru on the way to the West Deck restaurant. Small park, but a neat statue of Anne Frank and also Wilhelmina. Young people hanging out, but all were well behaved.
