A great way to spend a Tuesday evening! You can see the historical fort, enjoy reasonably-priced traditional food, and watch a wonderful show. The show featured musicians, dancers, an introduction to Papiamento, and a carnival steel band with costumed dancers. It's in downtown Oranjestad so it's easy to get to via public bus or car. There were quite a few... More

The mc has a great personality and the festival will teach you how to speak the local language and you will get to know about the local culture.

It was okay. It needed more food and acts. Costumes and musicians were wonderful. Glad we saw it but it could have had more history.

It's important to learn while you travel so I highly recommend the Bonbini Festival Show at Ft. Zoutman. Every Tuesday doors open at 6 pm. It does cost $5 but you can view the museum prior to the show starting at 7. Local vendors have crafts for sale and you can enjoy home cooking and drinks. Show included a fabulous... More

This was one of the greatest things we did while in Aruba and would recommend it to any and all. It is a little taste of the "Real" Aruba and the participants are such fun. They include you in the festivities and the food looked amazing. Don't miss this one. Only on Tuesday night and starts around 6 pm. The... More

Ok so my boyfriend and I were divided on how we felt. Food looked good (we ate at our hotel), drinks were cheap and excellent. There were only 3 tables of crafts, they did have live music and dancers which was nice. You also get a Papimento lesson, which I loved. They tell you about the history of the island... More

We heard about this weekly festival and wanted to soak in some Caribbean culture. We caught a taxi van to the downtown area and another taxi van to San Nicolas. The local show did not disappoint. A variety show with dancing, comedy, participation from audience- followed by a small parade with drummers and people in colorful costumes. After the parade... More

My family and I visit the Bon Bini Festival a couple times a year. I enjoy the shows, the history, the local food that Belkis has to offer and also I go to support our local artisans. I always have a great time here.
