Stopped for a brief visit and picture taking session at the Gold mine. Of course it's abandoned now but I understand it produce a lot of gold in the past.

Make sure you bring shoes you can climb/walk in as you want to scramble up the levels inside the Gold Mill Ruins and take some amazing pics. We got there via the DePalm UTV tour. What a great experience!

Really cool ruins on the beach. Went on a tour to see this. Loved seeing the staked rocks. This place was quite busy when we were there

Not much to say about this place we came- we saw- we left. Don't know why the excursion companies make such a big deal of this.

The old Gold Mill was built for ore then used during the Gold rush in Aruba and is now in ruins but so interesting. It sits right on the beach of a national park and a must see that only takes about a half hour to tour.

The Gold Mill Ruin is picturesque and located on the rugged windward coast of Aruba. It has been designated a national heritage site. The ruins were made from natural stone that is in keeping with natural surroundings. Aruba does not have many things to do other than the beach so the Gold Mill gets 4 balls here whereas at many... The ruins of the gold mine are very interesting! There is nothing to do except climb over the ruins of the single building, but it is an interesting site in Aruba's history. The views are wonderful
