Nice photo op

We stopped here on our day-long trip around the island. Nice place for a family photo or two. Lovely view from the location as well.

Great place to take one of those "vacation selfies" for the rest it is just a big red anchor with the ocean in the background :)

It's a big red anchor that's good for photos. It is definitely a good marker to find baby beach, just turn to the right and you will see the signs.

It's nice that someone decided to erect a giant red anchor to commemorate lost seamen, however I'm not sure this is worth going out of your way for. There is a coconut water man nearby where you can get fresh coconut water for $3, so there's that. We popped in on our way to Baby Beach. Take a right and... More

I couldn't resist my craving for coconut water, so stop at the coconut stand and noticed the big anchor just steps away. It was something nice to take a photo of with my Navy background. I enjoyed drinking a nice cold coconut water from the coconut man for $3 and the beautiful view of the south coast called Grapefield. The... More

Not a big deal or very attractive. It's there on the way to Baby Beach. Some folks stopped for photos. We just drove by it. No need to stop. Definitely, don't go out of your way to see it.

It is in the way to baby beach. Not really interesting, but worth to stop by five minutes to take some photos.

If you are going to the south part of Aruba chasing the beach, you will surely cross this Anchor in one of the roads. It is beautiful and you can get a good shot for you album. Give it 5 minutes of your time.

Found on the road to Baby Beach, near the ocean. Must turn right at this spot to go to Baby Beach - local prison is to the left! A fitting memorial to Mariners lost at sea. Popular picture spot.

After reading reviews and beating it out to Baby Beach to view the sunrise, we came to discover the view is even better from up here! Add this to a morning at Baby Beach for a great day. Don't forget to see the interesting pet cemetery just beyond Baby Beach!
