great tourist spot

The hall is full of interesting plaques and information. The square itself is very historic looking and has tons of great photography potential.

The middle of St. George and the place where the tourist vans park. The Town Hall is a cute colorful building, others around it are attractive.

The Town Hall is well preserved and is still in use today. There are a number pictures on the wall so you can gain an understanding of this historic place. It is worth a stroll in for a few minutes just to see if you are there.

This a self guided tour which allows you to take as much time as you want. Not sure if currently used or not. Quaint but wouldn't spend too much time.

Beautiful little town square in downtown St. George. All of St. George is fascinating and we loved staying there for three nights. The town square is more interesting when the touristy "show" is NOT in session... we found the whole wench getting dunked in the harbor thing to be completely cheesy. But, people must love it, because we would walk... More

Ringing in the new year at the town hall is an awesome experience. There is so much fun bringing in the new year and experiencing the onion drop.

My wife and I saw the square at Christmas and it looked very beautiful with all of the lights. Not sure how it would appear on an ordinary day, but it was worth a few minutes of exploration.

A very interesting place to drop by for a short visit. One of the town counselors happened to be there and gave us a short history lesson on the place. Very nice!

This is a nice spot for a short visit. There are free restrooms (always a plus), a tourist information centre, the town hall (with town crier) and some nice (if pricey) restaurants. At noon each day there is a nice (if a bit hokey) re-enactment of a dunking, such as was done to those guilty of gossip and other minor... More

We sailed to Bermuda on Grandeur of the Seas and posted a separate review on Cruise Critic of the sailing. Upon arrival at Royal Navy Dockyard (King's Wharf) we walked a short distance through the "terminal" to the St. George Ferry Dock. The Dock is currently located next to the America's Cup souvenir kiosk (2017). We had quarters for the... More
