During the winter months Somers garden host skating on a rink in the middle of heaven on earth on the island of Bermuda. This is a beautiful location and a seasonal skating rink with rollerblades is fun for all.

While the gates to the gardens were locked as they were cleaning up after the recent Hurricane Nicole, you could easily look over the walls and get a feel for the beauty of the gardens. Looking forward to actually being able to walk through the gardens on our next visit there

The history of these arches is cool and this is a beautiful stop. Bring coins for wishing well (donated to charity).

The Moongate legend is manifested beautifully in this small but lovely park. A friendly, obliging resident of the the island was reading on one of the benches and was happy to take our photo standing in the Moongate. The garden is gracefully laid out with trees and shrubs surrounding a central grassy lawn. In addition, the trees were imported from... More

Somersault Garden was a quiet, cool oasis near the center of St. George. The gardens were well maintained.

The last stop on the the bus from Hamilton to St.George leaves you off at Somers Garden so it is very convenient to see. It is not very large, but there are some interesting trees, and it is very peaceful and quiet. There is an arch called the "moongate" where you are advised to stand under for good luck and... More

Quiet, fairly large garden, well maintained, near King's Square. Good for a short rest away from the crowds.

I enjoyed the gardens here, simple but colourful, as well as the opportunity to take pictures of a moon gate. The Royal Palms from Cuba were impressive!
