From the ship, we took 10 minute trip to our open, speed (cigar) boat to Turtle Bay for a snorkel encounter with the wild sea turtles that nest on the white sand beaches and make their home in the turquoise waters there. We brought our own masks, snorkels and skins from home (skins are light weight suits that keep the... More

Nice long flat sandy bay, with calm waters & lots to do. You can sit, swim, paddle board & if feeling adventurous snorkel out to the wrecks in the bay to swim with fish & turtles.

This bay is absolutely spectacular if you want a day at a beautiful beach. Calm, clear waters to swim and sun, good facilities to change, and an excellent restaurant for lunch. Lounge Chairs are available, and for a small fee the beach boys will pound an umbrella into the sand for you. Have a Mai Tai and listen to Jimmy... More

Awesome white, soft sand, super clear water. Might get crowded and a little touristy, but it would be difficult to find as nice of tourist-centric beach in the world. Great for kids.

we went to carlisle beach on sunday 12th march by taxi from the Thomson discovery cruise ship, because of its close proximity to the terminal, the sand is white, the water turquoise , there are umberellas and beds for hire at reasonable prices well worth a visit

We are blessed to travel often and this is the second prettiest beach we have ever been to (Horseshoe Bay Bermuda if the prettiest for us). Soft lovely sand, crystal clear water, and just enough waves to play in. We walked from the cruise ship, a safe pleasant 20 minute walk. The first place we wanted to go was full... More

There are turtles to see here but when you drop 100 people in the water to look at them at the same time they run away this was not a good experience

The excursion was disappointing. Of the 3.5 hrs excursion time, we spent almost 2 hours by the beach and less than 30 min snorkeling at each of two snorkel locations. The excursion dropped us at a busy spot by eight boats nearby bringing people to snorkel, near to jet ski activity. Also, the excursion did not provide fins, so bring... More

This is a beautiful place. Soft, white sand, amazingly blue cool water. Top end has sun beds and is a little busier but if you just want to laze about the centre of the bay was more peaceful. At one end you will find Cuzzs' for a quick snack fish sandwich- amazing food, at the other, closer to the Hilton... More
