Shasa, meaning ‘Precious Waters’, is a stunning 30 foot catamaran, owned and captained by Jason O’Neal, who has over twenty years of sailing experience. Licensed to carry 12 passengers, our aim is to provide our guests with a more intimate and personal service, and therefore numbers are limited to eight people. Based in Holetown, we offer free transportation to and from the cruise terminal and west coast. Once on board, you’ll be supplied with masks, snorkels and flotation devices, and for those less confident in the water, snorkeling instruction is available from Captain Jason or a member of the Shasa crew. A range of complimentary drinks will be served throughout your day. Homemade banana bread is served on our snorkel cruises and white wine is offered with lunch on our 5 hour cruises. Committed to respecting the environment and the marine life of Barbados we aim to make our tours as eco-friendly as possible.

Tremendous trip out on Shasa. Jill, Paul, Clair and Richard were extremely well looked after by Jason and Rory. I (Paul) was particularly nervous about the snorkelling (not good swimmer) but Rory coaxed me into the water and looked after me throughout. So glad he...More

Jason and Rory took 8 of us on a tour along the coast from 3:30pm to 6:30pm - a great time was had by all. Snorkels and life jackets were provided for those that needed them, and drinks (Rum punch, beer, soft drinks) were available...More

I thought the best way of seeing the amazing island of Barbados would be in a rental mini-van that feels like it is going to succumb to the moon-like surface of the country's road system and fall apart around you at any given moment. It's...More

I highly recommend Shasa Cruises. It is a clean/small catamaran with fantastic service. We had 6 adults on our boat and it was a nice change from a big boat/booze cruise. We got to get up close with sea turtles and even got to see...More

I was “trip leader” for organizing a surprise family trip to Barbados to celebrate a milestone birthday for my Mom. We knew we wanted to get out on the water to see the island of Barbados from a different point of view, but I didn’t...More

Such an idyllic day out on the lunchtime trip, where we were lucky to have the catamaran to ourselves (unlike many other sailing trips where we were herded round like cattle). Jason and Rory made us feel so welcome and had many a yarn to...More

This is our second trip with Jason and I was not disappointed. A beautiful day. Jason is an interesting, kind man who looks after his clients. The fact that he limits his numbers on the boat means you get individual attention. This trip made my...More

Thank you for contacting us. Shasa is a 30 foot day charter catamaran and does not have a room with a safe. Kind regards, Jason O'Neal
