I thought this was a good place to visit and it gave me a good idea of how instrumental Che was in the revolution. I would make sure before going that they have interpreters in your language because we had a guide that interpreted for us.

We didn't go in but we saw great views of the city from here and missiles from the crisis. It's worth the trip up. You can also have snacks and shop.

Interesting place to visit on a high elevated site about 15 minutes drive from Havana. It overlooks Havana Bay and can be seen from far away. Museum contains a lot of photos and objects from Che and The Revolution with some interesting paintings. Well worth a visit. There is a small craft/tourist market close to the museum. Great place to... More

We stopped here while we were visiting the fort but would not recommend making a special trip. The house only has a few rooms and there are a lot of items that are "just like the [chair/book/table etc] that Che would have used". There's some interesting photographs but at 6 CUC each, you can probably give it a miss!

La Cabana is an 18th Century hilltop fortress complex at the entrance to the Bay of Havana. From the top you can take excellent photos of Old Havana. The fort is extremely well preserved but rather plain. I am not particularly into forts, so for me this was a so/so experience. Best part was the cigar shop at the front... More

This was the best museum that we went to in Havana. It is actually within one of the forts overlooking the harbor and city so great views and pictures. Can't recall name of that specific fort but you have to pay to get in there and then getting into Che's HQ is included. The museum is not large but has... More

You can disagree to his ideas, but you can't deny he wanted to change things for the better in his mind. It is very emotional and powerful to see an idealist and his ideas in motion. I recommend this visit to everyone who likes history.

We visited this as part of a general trip. It is a very peaceful place and gave an insight into his life. He is a national hero. It was interesting that there was not a tacky giftshop but only a bookshop. Great books which enable you to be more informed.

This is a very cool area of Havana, where Che Guevara set up headquarters. It overlooks the harbour and the city of Havana, so you get a really cool view of the city.
