Chocolate lovers will find themselves in a desert in Havana, until they come to this oasis. With a wide range of chocolate -- white, dark, milk, hot, cold, liquid and solid -- this museum (really a cafe, with a few artifacts) will satisfy all. We found the chocolate to be very rustic, similar to the chocolate we had at a... More

Located at the corner of Calle Mescaderes & Amaragura. Watch chocolates be made using plastic molds and enjoy a glass of chocolate. Not to be missed if you have a craving for chocolate.

It's worth visiting it because it's near Plaza Mayor and has very good chocolate(taking into consideration any other sweets with chocolate that you can find in Cuba) and chocolate souvenirs, but it's not actually a museum.

Throw in a couple of old (by western standards) crockery used for chocolate drinks back in the day into some display cabinets and call it a museum. As a café that sells chocolate and where you can watch the molds be filled, is where this place comes to the fore. Worth the visit for the cheap & tasty chocolate in... More

Probably the best deal you'll get in Cuba is the sinfully rich 50-cent Aztec Hot Chocolate here, as good as any you'll find in France.

In cafe, have a hot chocolate with spices or cold chocolate drink. Eat with buttered toast and, of course, chocolates. Order a mixed "regallo" box to take home. You'll be amazed how inexpensive it all is. Outside find the churro vender. Best you'll ever eat. He cooks them to order.

I loved this place. The Museo del Chocolate is more of a cafe that has an extensive menu where you can order the most incredible hot chocolate you've ever tasted! They do have displays of how Chocolate is made as well as a cabinet of the kinds of saucers that people would serve hot Chocolate but you can also buy... More

"Museum" is a little generous. This isn't much more than a chocolate shop that threw in a couple historic trinkets just to get included in the guidebooks.
