Loved the petroglyphes and the awesome bat show. Worth the $10 cucs. Go visit Saturno Cave for swiming in a cave experience and Bellamar Cave for real caving experience. All 3 caves offer something different. All 3 worth visiting.

Don't worry the bats won't bother you! But it's interesting to see where they live and the hieroglyphs from many years ago. We were not provided a flashlight, like others have mentioned, so just be sure your cell phone is fully charged so you can...More

This place is beside our hotel in Varadero so we walked here. For others, it might require taking the double deck bus here. The price is 5 CUC, for the locals, I think it is cheaper (10 CUP = 2 CUC). I am glad we...More

This cave was a short walk from our hotel, the Royalton Hicacos, but can also be reached via the hop-on, hop-off bus. It cost us 5 CUCs each and the guide took us into the cave, showed us some of the cave drawings, and explained...More

Brilliant cave - your allowed to explore the caves by yourselves with flashlights supplied , where you`ll see 3 types of different bats and a chance to help with their conservation

Charming little tour (about 15-20 minutes but you can stay longer) with a friendly and polite guide to see the aboriginal cave paintings and low-hanging wildlife. Easy to get to from Hotels nearby and well worth a couple of hours while you're there.

This was easy to get to by bus. The cave is fairly small. Took about half an hour to go through it with a multi-lingual guide. There were about ten other people when I was there. I was the only English speaker, but the guide...More

Just take the bus $5 CUCs per person for the bus. And $5 for entry. The guide will give you a tour and explain what the caves were used for and some history of the island.
