While there is a small fee to use the beach and rent a beach chair, it's totally worth it! The water is calm, the beach is clean and the coral is just a short swim away.

We did the math and by my count there are roughly 37 beaches on Curacao. We found this one on our first day and kept coming back. We visited several others and found that this is not a free beach, but worth the $10 ($5...More

There are so many beaches on this island that is hard to pick one to visit. This is a great one. The beach has restaurant, washrooms, diving facility and great snorkelling. We visited 9 beaches during the week, and although there were nicer views, this...More

We have gone to Porto Marie to spend the day snorkeling many times over the last 10 years. It has always been a pleasant stay: clean, good food, well run. A few years ago, however, we found large parts of the coral covered in sand....More

My first visit out of the United States. The second beach my daughter and I visited. It is a private beach, but the entry fee was only 10 Guilder, which is approximately $5.60 in American money. They offer lockers for your valuables at a nominal...More

Dear Mike, I wouldn't recommend a public bus to reach our location. The bus only goes as far as the village where PortoMari is located and then it is still a quite long walk to actually reach our beach.
