Enjoy the history of Curacao with surprising pieces of furniture and art, a museum worth seeing in combination with the Maritime Museum and the Synagogue.

We stopped here as part of an island tour port excursion on a Disney cruise. We enjoyed seeing the museum - it's got quite a bit of history and a lot an antique artifacts. Very cool to see. That said, it's not a "cool" place...More

Interesting stop..Very nice inside.. decorated like from back in the day...large planks of mahogany wood on the floors.. must;ve been quite a rich family that once lived here..Very old organ.. with the bells on the outside of the house...Nice stop...

Nice place to get a glimpse of furnishings and life from the 1700s/1800s. Nothing really surprising though. The airplane cockpit for the first KLM transatlantic flight was cool.

We spent an hour or so roaming through the exhibits and enjoyed our visit. It's a self guided tour and we could roam at our own pace with an information sheet. A staff member even offered us a drive to the shopping district in Willemstad...More
