This is where the multi-coloured buildings are, but you get a better view of them from the other side of the bridge. Lots of tourist shopping, neat vendors of fish and produce from local people.

We visited the fort, went to the market, and visited museums. We found a man sitting playing his guitar. He told us of the African boy looking out at the see. It was really cool. My only regret is we didn't see it and night

Combination of local stalls, market place and tourist shops. Great to just walk around and enjoy the atmosphere, soak up local culture. Try to avoid tourist shops.

Relatively small eastern part of old centre of Willemstad. Easy to walk all in 1-2 hours. Also many shops and restaurants.

I would say yes; we walked it all. The whole area is very walkable; paved and basically flat. It also isn't really that big an area and no one is in a hurry.
