We loved the walk up, at the top there is a small part to climb but not too hard. The higher up you get more you a feeling of being in a tropical forest. There are lots of small animals lizards and birds and even...More

We hiked this mountain one day. It was beautiful. We started the hike around 9 am since you cannot start after 11 am as it gets too hot. I had just gotten over bronchitis and finished the antibiotics a day before we did this hike....More

Mountain car route is 12 KM if doing the whole loop. It's 7.5 if taking the short cut. Note: Make sure to go to the office side and ask them to open the door for you to do the Northern car route. It is AMAZING....More

Went with a group of six people with varying ages and fitness levels and we all made it to the top. The hike has some areas which requires a bit of climbing over very rocky areas. Good footwear is a must! The views at the...More

Went around the entire national park (the mountain and the coastal park). It is the best excursion one can do in Curaçao! The tour guide is very knowledgeable and his stories and explanations make the tour very interesting.

The 360 degree views at the top are well worth the effort. The first portion of hike is not long or difficult but the last bit is quite strenuous. To avoid the heat I recommend hiking on Sunday because the park opens at 6 AM....More

We were staying in Willemstad for a week and wanted to visit the park so made arrangements to rent a car for the day. The rental at $42 was a great price as we also used taxis to go to a restaurant during our stay...More

This was a highlight from our trip. Be sure to get to the park earlier in the morning (they stop access to the hike at 11am but it is a good idea to start earlier to avoid the heat of the day.) It is a...More

We rented a car and did the hike ourselves. It was great. No need to join a group, you will meet people as you hike.
