This was a nice church to visit, it is under renovation but is open to visitors, there is a collection box to assist with renovation which we contributed to. There were locals in here and they were really friendly as are all Caribbean's, we have spoken too so far. Worth a visit to see the architecture.

On Christmas morning I walked over to the church but unfortunately I had missed the service. Take some time to visit this old church...peaceful and spiritual.

The Church is easy to spot because it sits high in the center of Dominica. It's interesting because the inside looks very primitive even though the outside has a look of a very classic, old stone Church which looks like it's been there for years. They hold regular masses and the times are posted outside.

The Cathedral stands high up and centre of the town. At the moment it is undergoing work so you will not be able to see it in its glory.

We attended church and although the only anglo's there, we were welcomed warmly. The priest was a good speaker and his message was inspiring and thought provoking. Many young families and children. The music was great!

Typical Catholic Church , it needs a new roof and is a wreck shut to public and roofless while they wait for the congregation to raise the funds ! on such a poor island it is absurd , especially bearing in mind the riches of the catholic church in the region!

We attended mass here with the parish being called Our Lady of Safe Haven. The service was packed and lasted about 2 1/2 hours and included three baptisms. The service was lead by the Bishop of Dominica and was inspiring and the congregation was very welcoming to visitors.
