We got off the cruise ship with this destination in mind, after reading the reviews it sounded just what we wanted. This attraction was devastated by the hurricane, and is CLOSED. Under construction. We only stayed off the ship for 1 hour. Very poor and...More

I highly recommend this privately-owned tropical garden deep in the Dominica rain forest. We arrived at Dominica by cruise ship and entered the Visitor Center to ask for them to arrange a private taxi. The cost was US$80 for the two of us. It would...More

We ate lunch at the restaurant then took a walk around the gardens. They're excellent. Lots to see. Worth a visit.

I very seldom give an excellent rating but this one gets it hands down. For avid gardeners, the exotic plants in this nature paradise blows you away. Whilst you visit, try one of its natural sulphur baths. Definitely worth a visit. If you are staying...More

I would say the gardens here are better than the botanical gardens. A small fee, I think $5USD to take this 15minute walk, or however long you choose, to see an unbelievable array of a vast variety of tropical flowers. Some I'm sure are quite...More

Ther is so much to see and a professional guide makes all the difference. There are also hot pools in which you can have a dip and a good, shady restaurant overdoing the gardens. Highly recommended.

The owner and creator, Anne, has made an incredible garden surrounding her hotel and restaurant. Almost all of the species to be found on Dominica are here, as well as hot pools and a delightful and attentive staff.
