Ok...so I know level of difficulty is very subjective, but let me try to break it down for those who are curious. We were a large group varying in age from early 30's to mid 70's, so I had done some checking around prior to...More

Yankee drove us to the start of the hike. It rained on and off through the day so the trail was a bit slippy but ok and the plants growing on tree branches were wonderful. We wore boots the couple with us were in sandals...More

We hiked the Middleham trail the day after the Boiling lake hike. The trail is a lot easier except we still had cramps from the hike the day before. It is beautiful all around, the nature is recovering from the hurricane. We swam in Titou...More

My wife and I did this walk last week. Very straightforward. Caught the bus from town to the turnoff, 4ec each. They have done a great job cleaning up the path. The water was chilly!

The Ti Tou Gorge was fun to swim to. The water was freezing but would soon get used to it. A safety jacket is definitely recommended because the current was strong and there's nothing to hold on to. There was two nice changing rooms (not...More

The gorge was so fun! Jumping in the cold water from the top was a shock, but totally worth doing. We visited right after a rain so the current was very strong but our guide showed us the best handholds and we made it to...More

Ti Tou Gorge was one of my favorite parts of Dominica. It was exhilarating to get into the FREEEEZING water and swim toward the waterfall. One of the fellas that work at the Gorge gave me a rope and pulled me up to the waterfall....More

Ti Tou Gorge is nice to see but be careful where you are walking. I had tennis shoes on but slipped on some wet grass.

Best one we've visited. Started at the visitor car park. Too us a bit over a hour to reach the falls viewing platform. Trail is well made with a view more difficult stretches. Main thing to note is that when you reach pathway junction with...More

sneakers or tennis shoes are fine to reach Middleham falls, I'd recommend swimming shoes for Titou Gorge

Our tour group provided life belts. It would be a much more enjoyable experience if you are a confident swimmer. A 4 year old could wade at the entrance but I wouldn't recommend taking them in the gorge.
