You don't need much time here, but you need to be close enough to hear the tour guide or research before hand. The ceiling painting is beautiful. This is really something to see.

Great building full of history. So many churches so little time. Would recommend doing the chi chi trip to capture all of them.

Modern feel to a solemn place where political VIPS are resting, including dictators. Visit does not take a lot of time, which makes it nice.

Take a guided tour or the history of this visit will be lost to you. The guard changing and movement was very interesting. Happens on the half hour.

Since this museum pays tribute to local heroes, it's not as meaningful to visitors but does reflect the Dominican Republic's modern history. Worth a quick visit.
