Beautiful views. Weather in November changes every 5 minutes so even if overcast at your hotel you could have spectacular views up top. If you have never ridden a cable car here is your chance. It is the only cable car in the Caribbean. Watch the guides at the top. The will line you up for all the silly pictures... More

We visited this place on a rainy day. It was booked 2 days earlier. Since the weather in DR is unpredictable, we were not able to see much because it was foggy-rainy condition. On the top of the mountain we were supposed to see beautiful lagoon and garden. All we saw was the vendors asking us to buy the goods... More

The most amazing views and flowers up there but not interesting after 10 mins. Don't take a guide it's a waist of money.

Beautiful view of the city and the ocean. The botanical gardens and walking trails were also very nice and well maintained.

So enjoyable! Just don't go on the weekend. Specially not Sundays. The lines reach out to the parking lot and takes forever.

This was a great little excursion. I would recommend NOT getting a guide. Simply get a taxi driver to take you there and wait for you and then simply say 'no thank you' firmly to each person who tries to 'guide' you!

Teleferico trip to the top of Mount Isabel is a must when in Puerto Plata area. The trip is short and smooth, the stations are very clean and air conditioned. The Botanical garden is well-kept. There were local musicians playing in the bottom station, and a group of dancers in colorful costumes performing near the top station.

It's a cable car that takes you to the top of the mountain and back with tremendous views over the city and mountainside. At the top on a clear day you can see all the way to Cabarete. Go in the morning! It's usually hazy or cloudy in the afternoon. Lovely gardens at the top to walk and explore. Much... More

Had a great time. Learned much about puerto plata. The tour was extremely good got to see the locals and visit surrounding areas. I enjoyed traveling on the cable cars through the clouds. Noticed there were not many animals around did see a random cat though. The little shops on top of the mountain all selling the same items for... More
