It was fun and guides were helpful. Walk to the falls was too long, but the briefing before we hit the trail was totally inadequate and even misleading. Keep in mind that you will need a wet-shoes; however, renting from their place offers a little quality ones. Bring your own. I decided to walk in my snickers, which essentially killed... More

This park is awesome. A must do for any nature loving, thrill seeking, off the beaten path type of traveler! Pictures and video do not do this place justice. They don't properly capture the feel of raging water and the view of the pristine forest.

We chose to hire a driver so we could do all 27 waterfalls and then visit Santiago afterwards. The guides were extremely attentive and the place was BEYOND beautiful!!! Be sure to bring good sturdy water shoes and a waterproof camera, if you don't want to take your own camera you can hire a photographer to video and take pics... More

Out of all the things to do in Puerto Plata, this was my favorite! As for suggestions for future travellers, I think it has all been said before but to reiterate... I would not recommended it for small children or individuals unable to do a moderate hike as with an individual with a significant health problem such as a heart... More

It's awesome, but don't take tour operators to go there. Drive on your own, the way is easy, and the price will be better

Amazing fun adventure working our way down twelve waterfalls. Safety equipment provided, supportive helpful guides. Lovely trek through the forest, gorgeous butterflies and birds. Daughter hurt her foot quite badly and the guides supported her and helped her through the remaining 11 waterfalls. Bucket list adventure (mini).

I've been on many excursions and this is definitely one of the best! Great if you love adventure! If you are scared of water... not for you! I have been swimming all of my life and I even scuba dive and this excursion even had me choking on water a couple times lol. Also not for young kids. My son... More
