We spent the week here. Every morning we came to swim and snorkel. Our kids (2 and 5) loved it. They could stand in the water pretty far out. It was never too crowded even on the weekends. Never any trouble finding chairs (10 am,...More

Playa Minitas is really beautiful. It is really peaceful and relaxing. It is located in Casa de Campo, so to get here, you'll be able to watch a lot of cool houses!

Not a terrific Caribbean beach. Appears to be man made. Punta Cana and Bayahibe have vastly superior beaches. The water is clearer and prettier. And, even more disconcerting, we went back the next day after our first visit and discovered the restaurant and bar totally...More

Minitas Beach was easily accessible by golf cart from our room. It was a great spot to relax after 18 holes of golf. Plenty of servers available to bring cocktails to your lounge chair at the beach. Be careful where you walk in the water...More

This is a fantastic beach in the Casa de Campo resort. If you are staying at the resort, it is an easy drive in your golf cart, however if you are coming from outside of the resort it might not be worth the trip. The...More

It is a private beach, which gives the visitor a great environment. Great restaurant (by Le Cirque). Shallow, great for kids. I recommend to bring basic stuff like water, colas, cookies or sandwiches or lays....they are too expensive at the beach...it is the only complaint...More

I don't know for sure, but I don't think so. It's barely walking distance within the resort and if my memory is correct, I think the port is a few miles up the shore.
