A well organized and informative tour. Flavio did a great job guiding us through the history of Don Lucas, the range of cigars they offer and how they're made. We also tasted an interesting range of rums at a separate building. A very pleasant break from the beach.

This is a nice day trip to get away from the pool for a while. The company will schedule pick up for you and its free to visit. They have a few different areas.. cigars, rum, shopping and a snack area. We were an english speaking group and they found a guide that was an english speaker also, so that... More

We signed up to take the tour from our hotel. The positive - its free except for anything you purchase. The negative - you only need 30 minutes there, but you get 2+ hrs to make sure you have plenty of time for shopping. The "tour" starts by watching some cigars being rolled, then a tour of the humidor room... More

Looking for a short break from the sun, pool, beach etc, my oldest son and I decided to check out Don Lucas Cigars, Coffee, Chocolate, and Rum. It was a very pleasant surprise. Picked up at our hotel for a fun afternoon. Learned how Dominican Cigars were made. Watched the craftsmen as they worked. They offered samples. Experienced Rum tasting at Oliver Rum. Fun and friendly. Also saw how Dominican coffee was processed with an opportunity to sample. Topped off our trip with samples of Dominican chocolate. Ernesto is a great host.
