We arrived in Grenada on a cruise ship and were docked for just one day. We met up with a taxi driver and negotiated a rate to do an island tour. One of the stops was the Annandale Waterfalls . These are by no means the best waterfalls we have seen during our travels but nevertheless we enjoyed visiting them.... More

It's a nice spot to visit in the interior of the island. The nature is beautiful, you can spot some nice flowers. You will see jumpers that ask for money to jump. Is their source of income, and if you are willing to contribute, they will jump from the top of the fall for you.

A lovely drive to this spot, nice views, lovely scenery, nice walks. You can pay to see a local person dive over the falls. The vegetation is spectacular.

Before reaching the falls we walked along a path smelling various spices and that was better than the falls themselves. Know that everyone is hoping to make some money here from the ladies you can take pictures of, to those selling spice necklaces, to a guy with a guitar, to the guys willing to jump from a very high point... Loved the tropical plants that line the pathway to these falls and seeing the chameleon on the tree. Objected to being asked to pay $5 to watch someone jump off of the waterfall when i would have rather enjoyed the peace & tranquillity of it.

Very easy to reach as it does not require much hiking. Nice large pool at the base of the falls. You can donate $ to the local kids who will do acrobatic dives into the pool from the top of the falls.

I did a trip up to the waterfalls, worth seeing while in Grenada, you can go in for a swim if you want & stand under the waterfall which looked quite inviting in the hot sunshine

It was a beautiful sight, and once you climbed in you received the refreshing cold current on the hot day.

We stopped at Annandale Falls while doing a tour in Grenada. It had just closed for the day but we were still able to visit. It's an easy walk down to the falls and there is a nature trail that goes around. We didn't get in the water but it was fairly warm so it would have been comfortable. This... More
