For a few dollars each, a guide walked us through the garden explaining what each herb and spice was and the different uses for food flavoring and medicinal purposes. She pulled fruits off trees for us to try. Interesting and very informative visit.

Buy your herbs roadside rather than waiting until this venue since they don't have much selection. Cool to see herbs growing in a natural environment.

We went to learn about he local herbs and spices and were not disappointed. Our guide knew a great deal about the herbs and their medicinal uses. It was fascinating. It wasn't a long tour maybe about 40 mins but well worth it.

Yes mace is a spice from the outer covering of the nutmeg seed. It can be used in sweet & savory dishes & is used in Indian food a lot.
