It was interesting seeing the living plants, as many of herbs and spices I had only seen ground and dried in packets in the supermarket.

This is the place to go and experience all kind of spices and how they grow. Very good tours and a wide variety of spices to see and smell.

Our guide Laureen was great. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot about the herbs and its medicinal properties. It definitely inspired me to do further research. This place is beautiful.

Yes mace is a spice from the outer covering of the nutmeg seed. It can be used in sweet & savory dishes & is used in Indian food a lot.
