One of the quieter beaches in terms of waves and currents. Quite a sheltered beach with specific areas for monitored swimming. Also an area with inflatables attached to the seabed. Really nice beach, but parking is quite limited, so if you want to make a day of it, arrive early. Plenty of beach side bars and also a local market... More

This beach is so nice as it is sandy, shallow waters perfect for children and restaurants for lunch along the beach...one of my favourite place. The only challenge is the road and lack of parking spaces. The water is a beautiful blue color and has no big waves. The beach has palm trees for shade and the local market is... More

This is a great beach if you want to spend the whole day. There are plenty of eating options with all of the restaurants and food trucks. There are also restrooms available for a small fee. The water is clear and the bottom is mostly all white sand and it is pretty shallow. Great place to bring kids.

Such a great beach, and perfect for small kids. Well kept and immaculate sandbeach, some nice street food vendors nearby. Parking is a bit limited, and nightlife is...nah, but for daytime family visits it's the best beach we came across in Guadeloupe after three weeks of exploration

excellent location, lots of parking, free toilets, shade trees, shallow waters for children, scenically beautiful. Not much fish life unless you go out beyond the barriers - out there I saw some nasty looking sea urchins so where footwear ;-) We did not explore many beaches but were told this was the best in Guadeloupe and by the visitors every... The water was jut the right temperature and very clear. The beach was pristine. I stayed at the Club Med and had ample access to chairs as well without having to battle everyone like it is the case at some Caribbean resorts.

The sea was clean as mineral water, really incredible. It was not cold, and very nice was to do snorking there.

Lovely beach with places to eat right nearby. Lots of older French tourists. Most people don't speak much English so be prepared to be a little familiar with French names of food you might be interested in! Water was gorgeous, blue and warm.........wonderful!

Town beach with parking alongside, safe, shallow sandy swimming protected by rock groins and a reef, there is a shower to clean off and restaurants plus a nearby mini Carrefour. Local craft, food and veg stalls are also there, together with a sea school offering stand up board etc. There is more readily available parking around the artisan craft village... More
