The beach itself? Nah...there are plenty of better ones not too far away. For a few hours with minimal effort however. Why not....Especially enjoyable was ordering food from the little shack / van. Wonderful burgers, chicken and tuna sandwiches. Plus they even serve alcohol.

This beach area is large and has a parking area for cars. Beautiful water. Lots of shade trees for getting out of the sun when you need a break from the heat. Several food trucks located on site and there is also a restaurant to the east side. Vendors selling swimwear and beach coverups abound with colorful selections. Easy to... More

Really nice beach with shady trees and some big lizards but there was a bit of litter. The beach slopes rather less steeply than most nearby beaches so it is probably better for children.

Our first trip to the beach in Guadeloupe was here. There's plenty of parking and a restaurant on site with very good lunch options. The beach attracts locals and foreigners, and it's perfect for multigenerational families.

Lots of shade, safe bathing – snorkeling too, various food outlet shacks plus a cafe restaurant. And a selection of beachwear vendors parading their clothes for sale for the ladies!

I really like Raisins Clairs. It's a beautiful beach, great for families, couples, friends, anyone really. It has a lot of shade which is good for those wanting to lessen the sting of the Caribbean sun. Also, the restaurant there is nice and has a good planteur that's not too expensive. Just a relaxed, friendly beach.

This Beach is near our rental condo - it feels like a locals beach. Lots of people, vendors and blue water. I wouldn't go out of my at to visit - unless you are a beach comber. If you are - head to the right in front of the condo complex. It is a great place for shells and has... More

Because the beach is close to town it is more crowded than other beaches in the area, but there is a long and quite wide stretch of sand with nearby shaded areas as well. There is a nice restaurant at one end of the beach and many food trucks/stands with a wide variety of food for a great lunch while... More

A nice beach, probably not the best, but beside the bigger restaurant there is a small hut serving a delicious meal of "catch of the day". Beautifully served grilled fish on a stone platter with fresh salad, tomatoes, cucumber and grilled platain bananas and an avocado slice or 2 (if you are lucky) at the price of 10 to 12... More
