This is a truly unique tour - I km off shore in the middle of the Sea. The catamaran (we left from Sandals South Coast) to the Pelican bar was a bit rough, but full of fun. Once there, we were shuttled to the bar...More

Such a unique experience, well worth the visit. Not much to it, a bar on stilts over a sandbar/reef but nothing like anything I've ever been to before. Have a drink, look around, have a swim just absorb it all. Went out to the Pelican...More

Most unique bar we have even been to in the world! Follow your GPS for Pelican Bar and it will take you to a spot where you can get a boat ride for $15/person to the Pelican Bar which is 1/2 mile out in the...More

Everything everyone says is true! This is a "Bucket List" place! Top ten bar on Earth! You get to tell people for the rest of your life you've been there - kind of place! So after all the press this place gets, we had to...More

Neat place to say you've been. Middle of the ocean so you take a boat. Not a lot to do if you don't swim. Little crowded but friendly people. Grab a rum punch and red stripe and enjoy for a little while. They cook fresh...More

Such a chill place. Everyone should come experience Floyd's pelican bar. Enjoyed my first game of dominos with some locals, a few red stripes and a swim on the sandbar

This place was so peaceful and beautiful! The staff was amazing and so nice! The food was great. $20 a plate but worth it! Loved every minute of being there

Loved the pelican bar! Was so quirky! Our driver took us there and arranged the boat to the bar, staff were very friendly. Had a swim around the bar and had a beer which was reasonably priced! Deff recommend it!

We took a catamaran cruise from Sandals South Coast to the Pelican Bar. Friends familiar with Jamaica recommended it to us and we were not disappointed. Its definitely a unique, rustic Jamaican experience. Floyd himself is usually there and is such a nice guy. There...More

The south cost of Jamaica is beautiful. I have not been to that part of the island and it was pristine. I loved the warm greetings from the staff and other tourists. Glad I finally did this after 20 visits.

The Pelican Bar should not be confused with any bar you may have visited. With no electricity your beverage may not be the coldest but the fresh fish will be just that. Some of the best food in Jamaica can be found at venues... More

We took our 15 and 12 year old and they were fine. Food was good, people were friendly, and water was beautiful. However be aware that alcohol is being consumed but it was like any other bar/restaurant. It was quite an... More

The ride out there would be about an hour and half or so. They have standard bar menu, mix drinks and beer food as well. If you make the journey you will it be disappointed.
