It was a lovely boat trip across the bay from the dock at Black River. When out there it was too rough to swim but I could see it might be awesome if the conditions were good. There are all sorts of curious things left...More

Seriously this bar has more character than any other bar in the world I mean the fact it's out a mile into the ocean speaks for itself! Lots of weed there already and everyone is super friendly

Used 'Rasta' George to transport us from the land to the bar-15 minute trip. Bar was great. Nice cold beer and to cool off a little, a dip in the sea was great. Names carved in the frame of the bar, so we are there...More

I visited the Pelican Bar with a couple other members of my family. We had a very good time. Do pack your water shoes for the trip. The water around the bar is shallow and the ocean floor is not very nice to your feet....More

This was just a great experience, I can't say you should expect to much from this bar but it is very quirky and just something so different and beautiful. We was advised by our tour guide not to get food as it sometimes takes hours,...More

This bar looks amazing and is pretty cool when you realise it is all wood and nothing else. We got stranded here in a storm as the boat drivers didn't want to leave in the storm - I can't blame them it was horrendous. The...More

I would say for a party of 10 people, it would be best to prearrange your trip. I don’t recall seeing any life jackets, but I’m sure the boat captain has them. The boat trip is only 15 minutes if you disembark from the... More
