Reach Falls is a lovely site that has been developed as a park of sorts by the Jamaica Tourism Board. It has restrooms, safe parking, , and a life guard who can also take you on a short but delightful walking tour up the falls to experience more of it. You can dive from the Falls or swim into a... We caught a route bus out to Reach Falls and came across a lovely local by the name of Dorian. He offered to be our guide and take us on a tour of the falls via private property and boy are we glad we took his offer! For $1200JAD per person, we were treated to approximately one hour of walking/swimming... More

Please note there are 2 ways to access this site. The Govt entrance which will cost you $10USD and you will only get access to the top part of the falls (a small section). Or you can hire a local guide for the same price (I recommend using the services of Dorian) where you will enter via private land for... More

Enjoy your drive to Reach Falls which is in a more rainforest area of the island. A beautiful location to visit. Jump in the falls and take a swim and enjoy

Fun place to explore for a couple hours. The water is fresh and clear. Walking through the falls with a guide, and then above the falls to a cave, was a great way to see the area. We loved swimming in the little pools. Lots of cool biodiversity in the forest there. Nice walk to and from the falls (an... More

We got there on Monday when it was officially closed, luckily we met a local guide - Dorian who took us up the river through private property so we could enjoy the falls. This is an amazing experience, far better than falls in ocho Rios - which was cramped with tourists ;/ here we had the falls almost to ourselves

Our guide was patience and incredibly helpful. We found the whole experience enjoyable, including the offer to drink fresh coconut water just before we left.

The government has done a good job updating this falls. You will enjoy it but know you do have a lot of steps to take down to the water. My husband did it with a broken leg so not too bad.

We hiked from the main road and walked 3.5 km to meet our local guide, Dorian. Always pick a local guide. It is a nice Challenge, it requires a good balance. But if you have that the guide will show you where to step when walking in the water, when to swim and where to jump from from big rocks... More

We took our teenage girls to visit the falls. It was mid-week and quiet so we had a small group on our tour. At these falls you swim, climb, and walk for a few hundred yards so you need beach shoes. You swim behind a waterfall, climb through underwater caves and swim in a beautiful river. Then you can take... More
