We went with our six month old. It was great and definitely worth the $10 USD per person fee. The vibe is relaxed, no one hassling you to buy anything. Beach chairs for rent, palm trees for shade and a great restaurant. Quiet, not overcrowded....More

Rating just the beach/cove/river setting it is a beautiful place to hang chill and have some good time! 800J$ for locals and 1000J$ for tourist is a little pricey to go to a beach but on average for all the private beaches around here (sadly)!...More

worth the hype but not the $10 entrance fee. The brackish water is a bit of a shock but refreshing when you don't want to taste saltwater the whole time

The Frenchman’s Cove is a relaxing place with a nice beach and small natural river where people can swim and take nice picture with beautiful views.

Amazing scenery, very beautiful and clean private beach and a river towards the sea with a little bit colder water. Mostly tourists, entrance costs 1000JMD per person. No one trying to sell anything so you can be in peace. One restaurant which has big lines,...More

Definitely worth taking a look here and going for a dip in the sea. A bit crowded but still OK as one of the stop offs in or near Port Antonio.

The entrance fee is worth it. The beach is beautiful and very clean. There’s a restaurant offering reasonably priced food and drinks.

We were looking for a place to eat that accepts credit card. I thought this does since it is a “touristy” place. We parked outside because the parking lot was full inside. We paid USD10/person at the entrance. On the way to the beach there’s...More

.. is just beautiful and not to many people there.. perfect!! A small river ends in the cove, and the cliffs on both sides of it.. it's just impossible not to sit there and feel like you're in paradise

No surfing here. The beach is magical and lovely. It is really an estuary that is divided in half by sand. One side, from the mountains is brisk, clear to perfection and much cooler than its brother, the ocean. The ocean... More

We showed up. We stayed at Goblin Hill and drove over to Frenchman's Cove. As I mentioned in my review, you must pay $10/person. Which we did, but only stayed about 5-10 minutes. Overall we found the people operating... More
