It is known as one of the top ten beaches in the world. The first time I visited Frenchman's cove I fell in love. It is just ridiculously beautiful. I love how the stream merges with the ocean and the various temperatures of the water. Too beautiful to put into words so I will add my pictures/

Amazing, I called it my jungle beach as this is truly the feeling that you get going there. The water is a bit cold but I dont mind. The swings make for great photo takings and the whole place is jst a postcard wating to happen! Do it!

Nice little beach, strong waves but small river close by if the sea is too rough. Lifeguards on duty

Lovely beach where you can take a swim among warm sea water and cols fresh water from the river that come together at the beach. You can have lunch there. One of the most beautiful beach I've ever been.

Only regret was not getting there early so I would have all day to soak it all in. This is the best spot in the island! No words can express the delight, beauty, or perfection of this cove. It's quiet and alive. It's tranquility and excitement. The food sold at the little restaurant is tasty and with a cold red... More

We traveled in the spring and would have never found this place had it not been for our friends who live in Jamaica. They highly recommended this beach and now I know why... it is a charming and intimate cove with beautiful scenery all around. A great way to spend the afternoon relaxing...

We went to this cove the second day we stayed in Port Antonio. Let me tell you this; I do not remember how much we payed, maybe 5 or 10, but it is priceless. You can float the river and finish in the ocean. You can decide whether you want to be in fresh water or sea water. You can... More

Frenchman’s Cove is a marvellous place where the river meets the sea. Thus, swimming there is an interesting experience as some parts of the water are cold and some others are warm. The waves can be very powerful, so be careful not to go too far from the beach, though a lifeguard blows the whistle if you do so. The... More
