Our group of 13 rented a vacation home here for 10 days. Arecibo is better than the 3rd World cities we have visited in Mexico, but definitely a step down from typical USA living. Streets are paved and indoor plumbing is everywhere, but be prepared...More

Arecibo is a sad little town where the economy has been hit hard. Vacant buildings, run down neighborhoods and few services are the norm. The beaches are rocky and waves are rough. There are few hotels and it is hard to find restaurants. A large...More

For anyone that has stayed here, how did you get to the location? We have a wedding coming up and need transportation for about 26 people to here, wondering if there is a shuttle service w/ a couple of vans, can't seem to find a car rental agency with large vehicles or a shuttle service. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
