Great historic walk along the bay

Beautiful & full of history. We talk our time, visited the fountain, vendors and food trucks. Great way to stay cool.

Live music Friday nights... Actually all the plazas in OSJ have live music. It is a great way to start your weekend.

You need to buy your entrance ticket at a building outside of the fortaleza itself. The tour is guided through some beautifully furnished rooms. Well worth the time to visit this lovely place.

The Governor's Official Residence is the original Fort of San Juan, replaced by El Morro at the entrance to the harbor. Truly a fascinating slice of history that is still in vibrant use today. The tour of La Fortaleza was definitely more interesting than I anticipated. You get to go around the home and fortress of many government officials throughout the years. It offers a rare opportunity to see inside La Fortaleza and I would really recommend it. Just be sure to get there with enough time because they only let a certain number... More

Tours are daily and free. Be sure arrive 15 minutes early cause they only take small groups of people. Note: be sure to have your identification cause they... More

This is the oldest Executive Mansion in America. Since Spain used to be the metropolis of Puerto Rico, La Fortaleza had been the house and office of all governors of Puerto Rico.
